Membership may be granted to persons aged 16 and over, who meet the criteria below:
Persons not pursuing any other career and who can demonstrate a substantial body of professional work over a period of two years.
Persons who can demonstrate a body of professional work in addition to the completion of a recognised part-time professional training course and/or a series of workshops over a period of two years.
Student graduates from a recognised full-time professional training course of at least two years duration can apply with Student Forms. A letter from the college for training done must be included and submitted before graduation to secure the Student Rate. Student Membership costs ONLY €5 for the first year.

Class C Under €127 €1.00 (changed from 1% of earnings)
Class D Unemployed €0.30 (unchanged)
There is an annual student rate of €5.
Irish Equity Subscription Rates
Class A1: €218.40/€18.20 p.m.
for members whose income exceeds €26,000 per annum
ClassA2: €208/€17.33 p.m.
for members whose income is between €16,900 and €26,000 per annum
Class B1: €145.60/€12.14 p.m. for members whose income is between €10,400 and €16,900 per annum
Class B: €99.00/€8.25 for members whose income is between €6,600 and €10,4000 per annum
Student: €5 for the first year.
Membership status is conditional upon the maintenance of annual payments. If you are a Lapsed Member, contact Des Courtney to organise reinstatement.
When your application is accepted you will need to supply the office with a passport-sized photo for your membership card to be issued to you. You also have the option to pay your subscription by Direct Debit to spread the cost over the year and ensure that you never go out of benefit.
