Some actors who were unable to attend have lent their support
Dear Gerry,
I want to say as an actor both in Ireland and abroad I completely support equity's move to achieve a fair and equitable share in all revenue streams generated by the work of young actors so they can hope to have any chance of having a reasonable standard of living in their chosen career, especially as more young people want to join the business.
Yours Faithfully,
Patrick C Bergin.
Dear Gerry-
Just a note to send support and solidarity for Sunday's Meeting.
It is high time that parity is attained. The inequality should never have been there in the first place.
Good luck -and good attendance figures!

On behalf of myself and my husband Vincent Higgins we would like to extend our support for the emergency meeting on Sunday – hopefully it will be well attended and a proactive debate will ensue. Unfortunately due to work commitments we are unable to attend.
All the best
